TRON saved-block Merkle consistency worksheet — checked 3 November 2026

Files: check.cjs, block.json, manifest.json and this README.
The block is a retained public response, not an independently authenticated chain.

Use a recent Node runtime. In this extracted folder, install the official pinned
package with: npm install --save-exact tronweb@6.5.1
Then run: node check.cjs block.json
The local reader uses the package's bundled protobuf module. Other releases may
move that internal module; no arbitrary-version compatibility is promised.

All365 raw byte round trips and raw-data txID comparisons must match.
The first and last proof routes pass; five listed negative controls differ/reject.
Writes test-results.json next to the reader. It never signs, sends, broadcasts or
contacts a node. Review source before running; keep original block bytes unchanged.

This is a source-response/header consistency check. It does not independently
verify a witness, block hash, canonical chain, consensus finality, transfer
economics, address ownership or exchange credit. Failed reconstruction is an
evidence gap to investigate, not proof that the public chain is invalid.
The supplied serializer handles this sample's result fields only and rejects
unhandled result fields. A different block may require a reviewed adaptation.
